Assalamualaikum w.b.t to all my fellow friends
Yesterday Dr Siraje said about arrage married are same like choose for our career.He said,arrage married is good than we choose our spouse by ourselve.For example our grandparents,our great grandparents are happy with their married.Recently, there are many divorce cases happen many people did not happy with their marriage.But,I have known someone who is my neighbour,she married with a guy that are choosen by her mother.But,she got suffered with her marriage because his husband is drug dealer@pengedar dadah and she already divorced with her husband and got 2 children.Recently I heard about her older daughter involve in prostitute.So how?.Same like career also...do we need to choose by own or let somebody to choose for us?.We should think first before do the dicision!

Assalamualaikum..welcome to our blog and we can communicate through this blog like what we have done on the previous sem..To the new friends, you are welcoming to participate,exchange the ideas..(you'll find it interesting (^_^) ) I want to take advantage from this blog by reading your opinion and comment.By that way, we can mutually improve ourselves better .Hopefully,you can comment on my opinion or you also can answer the question that I leave here.
As a future counselor, we cannot avoid from talking about CAREER. The way of thinking of our future students will be more advance. Of course, it will influence their behavior,personality,interest-it can be anything! Trough this subject-CAREER DEVELOPMENT,we can prepare ourselves in order to 'tackle' this situation later on. InsyALLAH.
Regarding to what we have learn today-CAREER INFORMATION IS OUR BASIC TOOL, what I can say here, we must be alert with the job market or to the current issues that related to the career. It is because, the students will find the counselor FIRST and ask anything about the career. They do that because, they think the counselor is the best person who know everything(they forget that the counselor is also a human being). In addition, for me, internet is the best source for us in order to guide them. we also can tell the student what is the web page that they can refer if they want to know or explore about the world of work.Moreover,in today class, we discussed about 'Why it is imposibble for the country to have 0% unemployed?'. For me, it is because, not all the graduated students are qualified. Some of them only good in theory and got the good CGPA but it's not a promise that they can good at dealing with the real world of work. As what the Dr. Siraje mentioned, some of them are lacking of soft skills. Although the university already regulated the subject that related to the leadership for instance,the university still cannot promise that its students can face the challenges in the workplace..So, what is your comment on this?

Hello everyone..nice to meet all of you again in this blog.
I wish all of us can share anything we feel throughout this first semester
regarding our course-counseling and guidance.
I just wanna share my expression and feeling after 2 semester and 1 year studying counseling so far.
I feel really thankful to Allah S.W.T. because I am given an opportunity to learn and experienced the world of counseling. All the theories in counseling and whatever lessons I have learned are really meaningful for me and to be specific all of them can be a guider for me to continue and enjoy my life in this world. Counseling teach on how to be a non-judgemental person, always be optimistic towards something around me and appreciate all things in this world.
One day, I have ever think that either I have did the right decision for my future and myself so that I will never feel regret in the future. However, after finished my first semester, what is the thing that I can figure out is I never feel regret join this counseling course and I a m really thankful because I am enjoying studying it and maybe this is the most suitable career for me.
In the next post, InsyaAllah I will post a comment on whatever I have learned in the class and I get from newspaper and internet regarding the Career Development subject.

Welcome to our blog. The purpose of this blog is to provide a space for relflection and discussion about what we are learning in our course on career development. It is a fact that we have very limited time to interact in class and discuss issues in detail. Moreover, some people may feel more confortable to share whatever is on their minds by posting on the blog than to verbally share infront of the class.
