Choosing a career is an involved process that is based on a number things, including your interests, skills, work-related value, and personality. To helps us in deciding what kind of career that is suitable for us, we might have consultation from career development professional. e.g: career couselor or career development facilitator. A career development professional will use various tools to help us evaluate our interests, personality, skills, and values. This is called self-assessment. After the evaluation, we should end up with provide a list of suitable careers based on our self-assessment. But we still can't do anything until we need to do some research. Where as, we should begin to gather information about these careers which will include a job description, outlook for the field (will you be able to find a job) and required training and education.
