Super's Theory
According to Super's Theory, the people must know who they are in order to choose the career that suit to them. Nowadays, there are many people who are not know themselves. That is why they just jump in any workplace with the hope that they can suit with that work and manage themselves with the enviroment later on. This is what happened to my cousin. She has the degree from UKM that eligible her to be the DIPLOMATIC OFFICER after graduate. I know that she really love that job since she likes to work in the office. However, what happened to her is, she failed to work as her desire job before this. That is why, she takes the KPLI and become the English teacher at primary school in KK. The environment that she has to undergo now is totally diferent with her personality where I noticed that she's not really like to mix with the children. I also know that she's suffer a lot of be a teacher. I really want to know, is there any solutions or tips if suddenly we realize that our job is not compatible with ourselves (interest and so on) ? I mean, on how we should face it so that, we confident and brave to make the adjustment with it. TQ

like Dr. Siraje said, sometimes we need to work which not our dreams to be because of ecomonics situation. what can i say is, to be someone like ur relative to be diplomatic officer is not dificult if she have passion on it. even she already become a teacher now, if she have the spirit and alwayz what to achive her dream to be a diplomatic officer, nothings can hinder her if she has that spirit. not all the things in this world that we want we can achieve "sekelip mata" the most important is the consistent efforts that we put into itand be a presistance person in achieving something. TQ :-)
Salam to my friend Nelly.As what Dr Siraje always emphasize, it is reality if someone didnot get a job that they dream after graduate from the university.As we know,that is why most jobless in Malaysia are people who have degree but they are still not working.It is because they are too choosy!!!.One thing that your cousin should do is,try to undergo her job happily and try to look at any opportunities for her to become a DIPLOMATIC OFFICER.Means that,try to find or look at the advertisment about that career.InsyaAllah it will working and one thing that I want you to know,ALLAH knows Best than us.Maybe there is a hikmah why your cousin work as school teacher,not as a Diplomatic Officer.Remember,*EVERY CLOUDS HAS ITS SILVER LINING*tq.Wassalam.
salam nelly..I also have cousin that faced same problem with your cousin.erm..How to settle your cousin's problem...Maybe she have to resign from be a teacher because if the person choose a job that not suit with his/herself it can create many problems in the future.The impact is not only to your cousin but it also give impact to the students.So,nelly you have to remind your cousin that think carefully before choose a job.For me we cannot get satisfaction of the job if we just think about salary.TQ
