Counselor???

I have a good perception about counselor since I am study at boarding school.When I am in secondary school, I found that being a school counselor is easy and wonderful. I hope that I will be like my counselor. He do his job with full of commitment and handle the students very well. He organize the program that are beneficial for the students and the program are very interesting. He really cares about our academic achievement and also about our welfare.
He open the counseling unit for all students and staff in our school. We are really invited to come and join the program. Other than that, the members of the school are very supportive to the program that counselor's organize.
Later, I am study at government school and my perception are still positive towards counselor. He also do a good job. He organize a program for the students who are sitting for public exam. Usually he try to get the help from the student who are already succeed to motivate the students. In my school, we have a slot for counseling per week. So, the counselor will come to class and help the student or we go to the counseling center. He try his best to help the student who are interested in academic but he did not forget the student who did not interested. He find the source and information for us and open the counseling center for us when we are free to comes. I am just mention a few of my experinces but there still a lot to share. I found that only the choosen people will be a counselor. We can see that it is easy for counselor to do his job because we see the counselor sit in counseling room and do the counseling sessions. The counselor who work with sekolah menengah kerajaan did not get good support to do his job. Sometimes, I feel that how he wants to do his job if he did not get fully support from the others?
