regarding to our previous lecture,dr siraje has shown to us a video about school-to-work program. i think that this program is very interesting to be applied to all school because it helps student to prepare themself at the work place. this program give the student oppurtunity to experiece the world of work. thus, they can make the decision and choose what job that suit for them when they finish the scholl. this program is one of career development besides doing tho HOlland theory (RIASEC)
However, the question is : is it posibble to implement this program to all school in Malaysia?
for me, its impossible for right now. maybe we can do it but it will take a long time to implement this program. we have to make some reasearch obout it first because it will cost a lot of money to develop it. moreover it needs a specialist to handle this program.
in my opinion, this program only can be done within the private school. this is because it will a cost a lot of money to develop it and off course, the school fees will be increase. those who can afford to pay for the fees only can send their childen to these scholl.
nevertheless, i agree if we implement this program to all school because it will help the student in term of to make career dicision but, as i said before it is quite impossible..
