The goal of career development at the school and university is very much different.
At the school, the students are in the path of very immature to see the world of life and career, they sometimes do not have time to sit watching a news and go for exhibition of career as they have to be more focus with their study. Therefore, the counselor has to play his role to be the mediator and medium for the students to get more information of the knowledge outside the school and about the career especially.
However, at the university, what we can see is the student himself seems to put more effort to find his job after graduated. This is true as maybe the counselor believes that the students are mature enough to survive on his own but in the reality, the university students really need more guides from the counselor in brings them experienced the world of work.
