What employers are seeking rite now?

Most employers do not hire people based on merit alone. They did not only look at our CGPA only. If we score 3.75 and above in our study, it’s not a guarantee that we will get the job that we want. Personality, confidence, enthusiasm, a positive outlook, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills count heavily in the selection process during interview session. Besides that, employers also looking for people that can do anything practically rather than just knowing the theory of studies only.

When an employer invites to an interview, they are indicating an interest in bringing us on board. The interview gives an opportunity to exchange enough information to determine if we are a good "fit" for each other. What we can do is we should prepare ourself for the interview session in order to make us more ready and well-prepared. During the interview, our result of studies not be look up anymore. What employers want to see is our skills and how we will promote ourself in front of them. Then, at there, our goal now actually is to show the employer that we have the skills, background, and ability to do the job and that we can successfully fit into the organization and its culture. During an interview also, we have an opportunity to gather information about the job, the organization, and future career opportunities to figure out if the position and work environment are right for us. During the session, we should use every possible strategy to develop effective interviewing skills. The best way is to prepare a selective presentation of our own background, thoughtful answers to potential interview questions, well-researched questions about the organization, and an effective strategy to market ourself. So, as a students rite now who will entering this process in the future, what we can do rite now is to identify our weaknesses and polish our soft skill such as communication skill, interpersonal skill and other relevant skills in other for us to be ready in entering the World of Work in the future.
tq.
