Is Engineering field the best for todays choices?

here the list engineers-type jobs that hot in job market nowadays. some of them we never heard before and for sure because we are not in that field rite:-) it good for our knowledge at least we ever heard about them!:-)some are very odd name like sales engineer and so on. i thought that the sales person only hold by people who graduate in business or marketing field but now there is a job call sales engineer!!
